Project Manager

As Project Manager you are responsible for ensuring all members of your team complete their tasks. This may mean that you will need to help them as well as complete your own tasks.

Task 1:

Your team needs to come up with a name for their vehicle. This will become your team name. Ensure that you pass this on to the chairman of the board (your teacher).

Task 2:

What does it mean to be a project manager?

Task 3:

Using Excel develop a time line (you have 3 weeks for this task so you must ensure that your team can complete their work on time). Give this to the team so they know when things need to be done by. Remember that although your team members will be working independently they will need to meet regularly to share ideas. Don’t forget to take minutes at these meetings so that you can track changes in ideas over time. These need to be handed to the chairman of the board prior to your presentation

Task 4:

At the end of the project you will be responsible for ensuring that all elements of the project have been completed and are ready to be handed in. As team manager you will be responsible for leading the presentation of your concept car to the Board.
