Roles and Responsibilities

Before you start allocate one member of your team to each of the positions listed below. Follow the links for a more detailed explanation of each role

Project Manager: It is your responsibility to develop the project time line and to ensure that all members of your team are on task and keeping to the schedule. You will need to help out other members of the team where necessary. You should maintain a journal of ideas and log of progress as it is being made.

 

Researcher: look at buying trends and identify key issues that will affect design into the future. You will develop a presentation which outlines the key factors which need to be considered when designing in the future (renewable resources, environmental impact).

 

Designer: examine current vehicle designs and features with an eye to developing a superior car in the future you must take into consideration environmental issues as well as the needs of the buying public. In order to complete the task you will need to submit drawings and a clay/plasticine model.

 

Marketing: Create an advertising campaign which outlines the advantages of this vehicle. This will include a brochure and either a TV commercial or a radio advertisement.
