Bayside P – 12 College has been hosting international students for over 30 years. More recently, the college has received students from Vietnam, Italy, China, France, America, Korea, Germany, Sweden, Serbia, and India. The college also has a long-standing sister school relationship with Anjo Higashi Senior High school in Japan and constantly receive exchange students through other programs.
The International Student Program
Bayside P – 12 College’s International Program is a rigorous program open to students with high levels of academic achievement in their home countries. Students at all year levels (from prep to 12) can apply for the program with Homestay accommodation made available to students over 15 years of age.
Students can choose a suitable length of time to partake in the program from 1 to 12 months right through to long term options enabling students to complete the Victorian Certificate of Education.
The Victorian Certificate of Education academic stream is complemented by a comprehensive range of vocational pathways and support programs to assist students in achieving their academic goals.
Underpinning the academic program is a network of support available to students. Students have access to a variety of resources including dedicated careers pathways staff, personal councillors, teachers, Year Level Co-ordinators, Principals and Assistant Principals as well as a dedicated team of International Student Officers to ensure their safety and wellbeing.

Bayside P-12 College offers excellence in teaching and state of the art learning facilities with an emphasis on Science, Technology and the Arts along with strong links to local universities. The college provides students with an outstanding opportunity to gain a global perspective across its three superbly located multi-cultural campuses. Along with our fantastic academic program, visiting students have the benefit of being at a college located just 8km from Melbourne’s central business district. This means when not studying hard, students can use public transport to explore all the sights of Melbourne!
